Church in the City is unique. It is casual, but God focused. The music is contemporary and engaging, but worshipful. The messages are biblically Christ-centered and are therefore practical. Our goal every week is to help people on their spiritual journey connect with God in a way that is personal and life-transforming. Our vision as a church is “to create a vibrant community that invites people to passionately follow Christ.” It isn’t about religion, but about the ability to be in relationship with the God of the universe who loves us passionately.

FIRST TRIMESTER OPTIONS
Colossians: Gaining a True Knowledge of Christ So No One Deludes You
September 8th – December 15th
This will be a 12-week inductive Bible study on the book of Colossians, focusing on what it means to be “complete in Christ.” We will be challenged to consider whether Christ is truly our “all in all,” and to make sure we’re not being deluded by man-made philosophies or traditions that contradict the Word of God. Join us on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:15 for these life-changing weeks! (Study leader: Annette Duncan)
Service Group
September 8th – December 15th
Study is great but there is no substitute for rolling up your sleeves, getting dirty and putting that knowledge into practice by reaching out to those in need. If you want to experience a practical application of discipleship then here is your opportunity. Houses need painting; appliances need delivering and people need their lives touched through the loving act of service. So please join us on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8ish as we reach out and meet the needs of people in Milwaukee!
