World and At-Home Missions

Church in the City’s World and At-Home Missions Ministry focuses on supporting missionaries in all areas around the world. We believe that the church is the body of believers around the world. We support the global church by:

• Giving 10% of Church in the City’s financial resources to support missionaries all over the world
• Inviting missionaries to speak and teach on a regular basis
• Annually hosting a Missions Fest to provide teaching and resources to our congregation members
• Commissioning and supporting our own congregation to go on foreign and domestic missions trips throughout the year

During a BASICS Ministry Tour, Church in the City attendees were able to see what ministry opportunities there are right in the Milwaukee area.  The result of which has been several outreaches.   Every second Saturday a group from the church now serves faithfully at City on a Hill (www.cityonahillmilwaukee.org) – located right here in Milwaukee.

Even our youth are involved on the mission field whether in puppet ministry to the neighborhood, or clown ministry at a local outreach.
